The Liberation Foundation, also known as the Terrance Lewis Liberation Foundation (TLF), is a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for wrongfully convicted people who are seeking legal representation. The primary goal of The Liberation Foundation is to secure justice and freedom for innocent folks who are wrongfully incarcerated through advocacy and support work. The Liberation Foundation was founded by Terrance Lewis, a wrongfully convicted juvenile lifer from Philadelphia in 2020. Through this work, TLF hopes to support the broader mission of creating a new, more compassionate justice system.
Note: The Liberation Foundation is not a law firm. We cannot provide legal advice to those who contact us.
The Liberation Foundation also seeks to support people returning home from prison. By aiding returning citizens, and educating our community about the need for a better justice system, we hope to create lasting change while supporting those who need it most.
The Liberation Foundation also supports ongoing efforts to change our justice system for the better. We're pressuring legislators for a better future, and encouraging communities to speak up for change.
